Basil Rohlfs

Technical Analyst

Basil is a fifth-year Chemical Engineering student with a minor in Chemistry at UBC. He has completed the core Chemical and Biological Engineering curriculum, including capstone design, where his team won the 2026 Plant Design Competition organized by the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering. 

Basil has worked as a fuel cell testing engineer, contributing to the design and execution of a multimillion-dollar test plan, and as a research assistant on CO₂ capture and conversion, co-authoring two publications. In his current role with the ATR Launch Program, he contributes to the technical development and de-risking of process technologies for early-stage ventures.
