Welcoming Drs. Ming He and Ju-Hyuck Lee for Sabbatical at BPI

We are thrilled to announce that two leading researchers, Dr. Ming He and Dr. Ju-Hyuck Lee, have joined BPI for their sabbaticals. Both bring exceptional expertise in their respective fields, and we look forward to the exciting collaborations ahead.

Dr. Ming He is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Light Industry and the State Key Laboratory of Biobased Material and Green Papermaking at Qilu University of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Paper Science & Engineering from Kangwon National University, South Korea. Dr. He’s research focuses on the fundamental and applied aspects of wood and bamboo biobased nanomaterials, with applications in water treatment, actuators, and sensors. His interests also extend to green solvents for cellulose modification and their broader applications.

Dr. Ju-Hyuck Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST). He earned his Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea. Dr. Lee specializes in the design and development of materials for piezoelectric and triboelectric nanogenerators, as well as sensors, with a growing focus on biopiezoelectric and biocompatible materials for biomedical applications.
