In an effort to create a more inclusive workplace for everyone, BPI is conducting an anonymous survey on equity, diversity, inclusion, and Indigeneity(EDI.I) from November 21st to December 31st.
The information collected from this survey will help us better understand the diversity of our community and our experiences of inclusion. Survey responses will remain anonymous and only reported in aggregate form, with any potential identifying information removed. The results will be used as a guideline in developing programs, policies and practices to improve equity, diversity, inclusion and Indigeneity in our community.
The survey can be accessed by invitation only and an invite has been emailed to all BPI affiliated faculty, students, postdocs, and staff. If you belong to BPI, but somehow haven't received the invite yet, please let us know at contact.bpi@ubc.ca.
While the survey is completely anonymous, all participants will be automatically entered into a prize draw with a randomized ID number generated by the system to win a BPI travel mug, an Orange Shirty Day t-shirt, or two tickets to the Museum of Anthropology. Fifteen winning numbers will be announced via this BPI website and socials on or before January 15, 2025.
Thank you so much for working together to build a more inclusive community at BPI. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us at any time.
