At BPI, interns aren't just learners, they’re contributors, innovators, and valued team members. Whether they’ve recently joined us or have been with us for some time, our interns have become an integral part of the work we do. They’ll be diving into research, supporting projects, and exploring how bioproducts and new technologies can help build a more sustainable future.
As they settle in, we asked them what excites them most about joining BPI. Here’s what they had to say:
Erin is energized by the chance to understand emerging ideas and how they will fit into real life.
“Exposure to new innovations and understanding how they will come into real life.”
For Branden, the fun has been in bridging the gap between education and work.
“Being able to learn about new technologies and incorporating what we studied in school into that has been really fun.”
In Gabriel’s case, he values the chance to meet leading experts in the field.
"I had the chance to meet leading experts in the field, including a member of parliament, which was an exciting opportunity."
And lastly, Rachel is embracing the unknown, eager to grow in ways she hasn’t even anticipated yet.
“I’m excited by how much I’ll be able to learn here, not just about bioproducts, but about the bigger picture of sustainability and teamwork. I know this experience will give me more than I expect, and that’s what makes it so exciting.”
With their multidisciplinary backgrounds, the team is eager to explore how bioproducts, innovative technologies, and sustainable solutions can help shape the world of tomorrow.
We couldn’t be more excited to have Erin, Branden, Gabriel, and Rachel on board. Their fresh perspectives and enthusiasm are sure to make a big impact, and we’re looking forward to seeing all the ways they’ll contribute to BPI’s mission over the coming months.
