Join us for our annual signature event, where we celebrate BPI researchers' innovations in sustainable bio-based materials. Open to BPI affiliates and partners, this event offers an invaluable opportunity for learning, networking, and building partnerships.

We're excited to spotlight our rising researchers through a poster competition, providing them with a platform to showcase their work and enhance their presentation skills. Aimed at fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, this event strengthens our research network within and beyond the community. Come celebrate the conclusion of the academic year with colleagues and friends over complimentary lunch and drinks!

We invite all BPI-affiliated students and postdocs to showcase their work in the Poster Competition. Submit your application by April 12th. We will review them and announce the selected ones by April 17th.

Competition Prizes

The judging panel, composed of BPI faculty members, postdocs, industry partners, and the EDI.I Committee, will select the winners of the following prizes:

  • Best Poster Presentation Awards: $300 each for two students and one postdoctoral researcher who delivered the best presentations.
  • EDI.I Excellence Award: $300 for the presenter who has best demonstrated how their research impacts and addresses the needs of underrepresented groups or Indigenous communities.
  • People's Choice Award: $100 for the presenter who receives the most audience votes.
Prize Draw for Guests

Guests can participate in a stamp rally to win a prize. Those who visit 15+ posters and collect stamps from the presenters can enter the prize draw to win a BPI mug or a $100 gift card. 


We suggest using one of the following parkades which are located within a 5 min walk. Their rates are $2 per 1/2 hour up to a daily max of $20.
