ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Dr. Serkan Gökpinar, he graduated from Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf with a BSc and an MSc degree in Business Chemistry. He then completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christoph Janiak at the Institute for Bioinorganic Chemistry and Catalysis at the University of Düsseldorf. His research focused on the synthesis and shaping of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), and the application in sorption driven chillers. Currently, he is an international sales manager at Microtrac MRB, responsible for surface and pore characterization.“
