ABOUT THE EVENT

BPI Connect 2024 shines a spotlight on the latest scientific and technical advancements in sustainable bio-based materials developed by BPI researchers. We extend a warm invitation to all BPI-affiliated researchers, faculty, students, staff, and industry and government representatives to join us. This event serves as a platform for learning, networking, and celebrating our collective strides towards a more sustainable future.

SHOWCASE COMPETITION

BPI-affiliated students and postdocs are all welcome to participate in the Showcase Competition. You'll have the opportunity to set up a demonstration table to present your research and deliver a 1-minute flash presentation on stage. You can participate as an individual or a team of no more than 3 persons. For the presentation guidelines and judging criteria, click here. 

Competition Prizes

A panel of faculty, researchers, and industry experts will evaluate and select winners for prizes. Additionally, the People's Choice Award will be presented to the team who gets the most votes from the audience.

The top presenters will receive a $500 travel and educational award, which can be applied to conference or course registration, along with a $100 Visa gift card.

Prize Draw for Guests

Guests can participate in a stamp rally to win a prize. Those who visit 15+booths and collect stamps from the presenters can enter the prize draw to win a BPI travel mug, a premium holiday gift basket, or a $100 visa card.

We suggest using one of the following parkades which are located within a 5 min walk. Their rates are $2 per 1/2 hour up to a daily max of $20.
