ABOUT THE EVENT

BPI is hosting an Open House event to celebrate the newly renovated PPC Lab #308!

For more than three decades, the centre has supported the sector and associated researchers in pulping and papermaking science and technology that has resulted in significant impacts on Canada’s forest product industry.

Now as demand for biobased solutions continues to increase it is also time for the building and equipment to be updated to facilitate world-class research and applied research activities in developing sustainable biobased materials. BPI thanks and welcomes the partnership with industry, provincial and federal governments, private donors and of course UBC and associated faculties/departments in creating a world-leading biobased innovation centre.

Come join us to tour the labs in PPC and meet some of the BPI researchers to learn about their world-class research activities happening in the building. While enjoying a hot lunch served for free, you can connect with colleagues and friends or just learn new things from the poster presentations. Don't forget to collect free gifts and enter into a draw to win a $100 Amazon gift card!
