Y Facilitation Inc. is looking for a talent to join our team in an exciting project that seeks to help circular bioeconomy innovations to move up the technology readiness level. You can be working remotely over the summer on a fascinating project interacting with best-in-class researchers at UBC Bioproducts Institute (BPI). This role will involve working with BPI research group(s) to evaluate emerging technologies from the research portfolio, supporting the development of a business plan for the emerging technology assigned, performing market analysis and techno-economic analysis on emerging technology assigned, and more! This opportunity would allow you to interact with university researchers, graduate students and postdocs, who will provide input and guidance on technical aspects, as well as the team of professional staff comprising of a business development director, operations director, senior research project manager and a research grant facilitator who will provide business/industry guidance.
