PACWEST Conference - Submit your abstract by March 19

The PACWEST Technical Conference symbolizes the interdependence of those who develop technology in the pulp and paper industry and the many suppliers of related materials and equipment. The event will feature several Round Table Meetings, Technical Sessions, as well as conference Wrap Up & Awards. You're invited to submit your interest in presenting a technical paper for this virtual conference.  Please submit; the title of the presentation and abstract/summary, authors name(s), their affiliation and contact information.  You need to commit to participate in the conference by March 19, 2021. You will be advised at the end of March if your submission has been accepted for presentation at the virtual conference. There is no need for submitting full written paper.

 Agenda for Virtual Technical Sessions:  Thursday, May 27th & Thursday, June 3rd

  • Two days (am/pm sessions) for Technical presentations from mills, suppliers, researchers and students.
  • A follow-up session for the Awards Presentations - June 8 

All presentations and their contents will be judged, with awards in several categories: the HR MacMillan Trophy for Best Mill Presentation, Runner-Up Presentation, Best Supplier Presentation, Best Novice Presentation and Best Student Presentation. Please note that the time limit for presentations is 20 minutes and 5 minutes for questions and answers. Please submit your abstract to:
